Welcome to Wah Pow Healing Lodge
Here at the Lodge, you are amongst people who care and understand. Many of the same people who will be helping you find your path of recovery have traveled that same path and have stumbled over the same obstacles that you have. Yet, they have managed to succeed and have chosen to share their experiences with you in hopes that you may also succeed and continue the positive cycle by sharing what you have learned. We are here for you 24 hours a day so take full advantage of this opportunity to begin your healing.
Even though you are only at the beginning of your journey, take this opportunity to start thinking about what direction your life will take you when you leave the Lodge. Who will be there to help you? Who and what is really important to you? Start planning as soon as you have been admitted to the Lodge. Work through your plan with your counselor and don’t be afraid to use a lot of detail. The more effort you put into this plan; you will be proving to yourself that you are sincere in your decision to change your life.
As with any facility, we ask that you accept our Terms and Conditions. They have been put in place to ensure the smooth operation of the Healing Lodge and for the comfort and safety of everyone. We have made every effort to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere. To help maintain this atmosphere, we ask that you respect the furnishings and equipment by not abusing them.
You cannot help but notice the beauty of the natural setting surrounding our Lodge. Our staff tries to keep the surrounding area clean and free of debris but there are times when we miss something, if you spot garbage while on a walk on the grounds, please pick it up and empty into garbage bins.
We provide good nutritious, home cooked meals every day. If you have medical reasons for a special diet, please be sure that your counselor relays this to the kitchen staff. Please remember that special concessions regarding meals will be made only for medical reasons.
We have made every effort to make your stay pleasant and productive. We wish you the best of luck on your journey to recovery. Remember, this is only the beginning of pimatisiwin.
Only You Hold the Key to the End
We take an active role in helping one to understand how addictions affect the mind and body.
